Modern aircraft have much lower maintenance needs than previous generations. This makes equalized maintenance concepts more attractive, which will change the future of the aircraft maintenance businesses. This subject was the topic of the VZM Diversium Is there any future for the Heavy Maintenance Business hosted by VZM Management Services on June 9.

Once again senior leaders from airlines, MROs, and other industry suppliers attended this event and discussed the consequences for their businesses. Frank Schreiber from Airbus gave the presentation Aircraft Technology & Mainenance as introduction for the discussions.
